As Managing Editor of BMI’s in-house feature publication MusicWorld—a role assumed while still Associate Director of Editorial and maintained as Director—recruited a top-tier team of roughly 15 freelance writers that included veterans from the New York Times, Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles Times, key Nashville outlets, and more. Ran the editorial calendar both for print and online versions of MusicWorld. After creating and implementing a new online strategy, substantially grew MusicWorld’s audience, tripling the online subscriber list.Served as the primary writer and editor of the majority of BMI’s content, from news and features for BMI.com—which recieved at least 2.2 milllion page views and 350,000 unique visitors every month—to press releases, internal and external corporate reports, newsletters, and executive letters, quotes, and speeches.
