Managed employee benefits for approximately 4,500 active and retired benefit eligible faculty, staff and retirees. Design and implement benefit programs including: a self-funded medical plan, wellness, life, long-term disability, dental, tuition remission, 403(b), 401(a), and 457(b) retirement and salary reduction programs.

Administered the University retirement plan for the faculty and staff of 4,600 employees. Implemented new processes that resulted in cleaner data being transmitted to the vendors, allowing for contributions to be credited in a timelier manner. Brought the 403b plan into compliance with the Pension Protection Act of 2006. Handle the annual IRS Form 5500 annual filing for the Saint Louis University 403b plan, as well as the Health and Welfare plans. Assures compliance with federal guidelines for the 403b, 401a and 457b Deferred Compensation plans.

Administered the University medical plans as well as the dental, flexible spending, and tuition remission benefits. Helped implement the SCT Banner system for the Benefits office, including the online open enrollment processes for medical insurance and tuition remission.

Assist University employees and former employees with general benefits needs. Assist Benefits Specialists with correspondence to medical and dental insurance companies as well as retirement vendors. Prepare and deposit insurance payments from former employees. Work with Benefits Specialists on insurance open enrollments, including data input and updating of employee information. Work on special projects for the Human Resources department, specifically coordinating the department's move into their new offices.
