As the New Patient Coordinator, I am the initial contact for new patients entering into the Head and Neck Oncology department at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I work with patients, doctors, nurses, and outside institutions to coordinate a patient’s first appointment, which includes collecting and organizing medical records and pathologic materials. Since I am the main contact for patients entering into Dana-Farber, it is my duty to provide patients with the utmost customer service and ensure that they have a pleasant and effective consultation.
