I am working towards Oregon Bar licensure via Oregon's new Supervised Pathway Portfolio Examination (SPPE). I work at Portland Immigration Law on asylum, removal defense, and family-based cases. I have externed at SOAR Legal Services and Catholic Charities Immigration Services, and volunteer in immigration court accompaniment with IMIRJ (Interfaith Movement for Immigrant and Refugee Justice) and at asylum clinics with Innovation Law Lab's Equity Corps program. My professional background is in nonprofit management, including work with immigrant and refugee communities, and international development work. I hold a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in International Economic Development. I speak, read and write Spanish with professional proficiency. I've lived outside the US in four countries, and have worked and traveled abroad extensively.
