• Python and Numerical Methods - Programming Course (July 2022 - Nov 2022 ) - Extended PositionIn addition to being a teaching assistant, tasks included creating programming exercises on the basics of python (from variable definitions and loops, to functions, plotting and data analysis) and numerical methods (numerical differentiation and integration, Monte Carlo simulations, Forward Euler Methods) to be used in the homework sets throughout the course. Other responsibilities include coordinating the grading among the teaching assistants, controlling for plagiarism and other organisational tasks.• Principles of Measurement Systems (Nov 2022-Jan 2023) • Computational Methods 1 (Feb 2023 - April 2023) - Extended Position (see Python and Numerical Methods)• Physics Laboratory 2 (April 2023 - June 2023) - Extended position Additional to standard TA tasks (supervising 3 groups of students through an 8 week long project) : creating/reforming rubrics used for grading reports, presentations and teamwork; helping with the organisation of and communication with 18 teaching assistants; creating laboratory schedules; grading extra students; creating a TA Guidelines PDF with laboratory and general instructions

Head of the student mentor programme for BSc Physics, BSc Applied Physics, and BSc Astronomy at the University of Groningen (RUG).Mentor for the first year students, helping them adjust to the university on a personal, social, and academic level. Tasks involve holding group meetings (13 students), as well as individual meetings, covering a variety of topics related to life at university and the Faculty of Science & Engineering (FSE). Responsibilities also include being a laboratory assistant for the first year experiment course (Physics Laboratory 1), and grading the students reports. Head mentor responsibilities also include acting as a communication line between the (23 in 2021, 30 in 2022) mentors and the academic advisors, meeting with the academic advisors to discuss improvements to the mentor programme, giving input on the structure of the laboratories in the course, creating schedules for mentors to assist in the laboratories, taking minutes at meetings, etc... One-off project also includes creating a manual for future mentors to use for the experiments and in grading of the reports.

Working with the programme directors for (BSc & MSc) (Applied) Physics & Astronomy, (MSc) Nanoscience, (MSc) Energy & Environmental Sciences to identify structural and educational improvements across the cluster, providing the student perspective on the topics that arise.
