I’m working as a freelance editor, which lets me flex my grammatical muscles and take advantage of the analytical side of my personality. As the work is available, I also ghostwrite articles for various magazines and online publications. I hope someday to get a book contract.During the school year I help ELL/ELA students from underprivileged schools improve their reading skills. Last year, we brought one of my students reading up three grade levels in our tutoring sessions. I'm also involved with my local historian society, as a docent, member of the Strategic Planning Committee, and Board of Directors. I have extensive experience in various office environments, and am a NALA-certified paralegal. I graduated from an ABA-approved program at the top of my class, summa cum laude, with 4.0. As a paralegal, I primarily did corporate work, such as updating and maintaining corporate financial books, issuing and keeping track of stock certificates, and helping potential business owners draft articles of incorporation or set up a limited liability company. I also drafted Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney. My specialty turned out to be serving papers on defendants who had proved resistant to our usual process servers. I was my firm's secret weapon, with a 100% success rate of papers served. I also drafted and filed many motions for the State and County Courthouse in Harrisburg, PA.
