It involves teaching listening, speaking, reading, writing, and study skills, content vocabulary, and cultural orientation at appropriate developmental and proficiency levels. Collaborating with a colleague and two work students, I developed the curriculum for English for second-year students at People & Business Management. An interactive teaching methodology is combined with online resources. Grammar is taught by the students. The emphasis is on Human Resources skills such as the process of application as well as interviewing techniques; recent articles are explored in order to discover new developments and trends in this sector. The language English is applied as a global communication tool.

Proficiency in the English language is required to succeed in today's international business. The Cambridge Business English Certificates are internationally recognized qualifications that show employers student's skills for using English in the workplace. Furthermore, dealing with current concepts and language, using primary sources such as articles, communication skills and an intrinsic motivation are indispensable for Facility Management students requiring English for an international career.

Since 2009, I have been working as a trainer in the Executive Programs at Maastricht School of Management. I have been involved in the Marketing of Services (MOS) program, Financial Management (FM) programs as well as The Consulting Process (TCP program). These are twelve week post graduate training programs for managers from developing countries. The two or three day training modules which I develop are tailor made and apply to Customer Relationship Management, Communication skills - Presentation Skills, and Report and Proposal writing. What I enjoy most at Maastricht School of Management is the close cooperation with Program Managers as well as the in-class interaction in a multi-cultural setting. Op dit moment is mijn belangrijkste yoga doelgroep senioren, oftewel mensen boven de 50 die nog steeds vitaal zijn maar net iets meer support nodig hebben in de vorm van props (yoga hulpmiddelen). In deze yoga senioren lessen wordt aandacht besteed aan ademhaling, balans, bloeddruk, gewrichten, hartfunctie en heupen; mudras (handbewegingen) en meditatie worden ingezet om de yoga tot een logisch geheel te beoefenen. Uiteindelijk kan daardoor het streven naar en verbetering van een algemeen fysiek en geestelijk welbevinden behaald worden.
