The Danish Union of Journalists, founded in 1961, is a trade union for people who work in journalism, media and communications.We currently have more than 18.000 members who are permanently employed or work freelance as journalists, photographers, cartoonists, TV producers, directors of documentaries, communicators, etc.

Part of management of The Capital Region of Denmark, one of Denmarks biggest employers with more than 40.000 employees including ten hospitals and more. I am heading up the Communication department with close to fifty clever communication consultants.

In the three years, I have been in DR:* DR has been the most mentioned company in Denmark, with more than 50.000 annual mentions in national media (source: TNS Gallup)* The image of DR has improved from no. 134 in 2011 to no. 91 in 2014 as measured by more than 4000 Danish leaders in “Guld Image”. The Management Board is in charge of the management of DR and has overall programme responsibility. DR Communication and HR includes close to 60 employees, hereof four middle managers and five shop stewards.

I have been responsible for Coloplast Global Public Affairs Team, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the donation program "Access-to-Healthcare" and Coloplast sponsorship policy, Until 1 February ´10 also in charge of Corporate Media Relations, 8 staff, hereof five specialists and one middle manager.Established a Global Public Affairs function with an increase in activity from 6 to 18 countries in one year. As a spokesperson I have helped to position Coloplast in relation to the public agenda on environment and innovation. The company has been singled out as an example by ministers and senior MPs My team and I have :• Given ongoing strategic advice to Executive Management on messaging and communication externally and internally• Performed regular country overviews of 18 countries to asses Public Affairs risks and opportunities for Coloplast• Initiated PA action plans in these countries when relevant• Prepared Board Chairman's speech for the Annual General Assembly for three consecutive years.• Developed and implemented an external media relations strategy 2009• Drafted a CSR strategy and a sponsorship policy 2010• Established Whistleblower hotline 1 October 2010• Published Coloplast first CR report 1 February 2010

I was elected on a Coloplast mandate as a part of my work for the company. I was chairing the board of the industry association “Medicoindustrien”. Supervising the Secretary General of Medicoindustrien. The Secretariat has 7 employees and a turnover of approx. 7 million DKK.I have initiated a strategy process for the association. The goal is to formulate crisp value-propositions in relation to member companies and the Danish society as a basis for choice of services and priorities within the Secretariat.

I have been my party's spokesperson for Labour Market Issues throughout the election period. I was the spokesperson for Food and Consumer issues until June 2007, after which I took over as the rapporteur on Development Aid to Third World Countries.I achieved great insight in the above issues and have participated in the legislative process - from formulating my party's policy, to negating with the government on issues to the legislative implementation of the various political agreements. Moreover, I have extensive knowledge of the formal legislative process in parliament. I participated in government negotiations on “Østforliget”, “the Welfare Settlement”, the early pension reform, "People at Work", the Food agency reform and many more.I was responsible for the drafting of my party´s policy proposals on early retirement benefits, unemployment benefits, and stress and consumer issues among other.As an MP, I worked strategically politically and as a communicator. I achieved great routine as a performing communicator in all possible contexts - not least on television.
