    Re-FREAM is a pillar of the STARTS Programme (Science + Technology + Arts), an initiative of the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. Re-FREAM is a research project that invites artists and designers to connect with scientists on common ground to rethink the manufacturing process of the fashion industry. This super collision of ideas will give way to unforeseen ideas and a new aesthetic that is human-centered, inclusive, and sustainable. The goal is to develop new concepts for the future of fashion by means of new processes and aesthetics that are inclusive and sustainable. Awarded artists will receive a grant of 55,000 Euros.

The project provides companies with an incubation program to develop new businesses, including a) 10.000 € in financial support; b) coaching on business strategy and technology development; c) legal advice on intellectual property rights and protection; d) participation in exhibitions; e) networking and professional links.
