Currently working for Boston Healthcare for the Homeless as a Harm Reduction Technician. This program is centered around destigmatizing drug use and providing a safe and inclusive environment for people to heal and move forward. I have worked for several years as an EMT for Cataldo Ambulance Service. I have extensive experience working both in an emergent setting, as well as non-emergent. I served consistently on the front lines throughout the Covid-19 pandemic in some of the hardest hit areas of the Commonwealth.I have completed my Masters in Public Health: Epidemiology and Biostatistics through Tufts University. I conducted a SWOT analysis of Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program’s Harm Reduction program identifying key areas of strengths and opportunities to further strengthen its goals of combatting the opioid epidemic in the Boston area. Additionally I interned under Massachusetts Representative Adrian Madaro and worked with the Joint Committe on Mental Health, Substance Use and Recovery to design a program focused around wet shelters for LGBTQ+ individuals. I hope to use my experience to continue advocating for the most vulnerable members of our population in the Commonwealth.
