It takes quick problem solving and decisional skills to ensure all the working parts operate smoothly together. I particularly loved making star guests feel special, especially at weddings and corporate events. Funerals were always meaningful for me as well, because I got to help make families feel better on their saddest days. It is important to be able to read the room and provide the proper energy for whatever that particular event may need. I ensured food safety and quality throughout the entire event, as well as the clean up of the facilities and warehouse. I also completed end of event reports that would be reviewed by the owners. I also operated company vehicles, ensuring proper safety protocols. The professionalism you gain from serving, as well as the insightful ability to know what a client needs before they need it, is invaluable.
