Budget and personnel responsibility. My responsibilities included investor relations/communication with the capital market, development of strategy and platform for the Fabege brand, crisis communication, PR and media relations, and sponsorship/events. As Fabege was the developer of some of Sweden's largest construction sites, sustainability communication, public affairs and relations with politicians and civil servants were also an important part of the role.When I took office in 2013, I came to a quiet industrial area in the middle of Solna and to a CEO and Deputy CEO with a fantastic and inspiring vision of a place where the biggest and finest companies in Sweden would move. There was an arena (Friends) there that endured massive criticism in the media and the general opinion was that it was impossible to commute to this part of Stockholm. Together, we have profoundly changed the district, turned the image around and created Arenastaden, which today has 22,000 people working here daily and 14 million annual visitors. A place with a high density and low carbon emissions thanks to well-developed infrastructure. The lessons have been many along the way and the recipe for success has been based on a clear vision and consistent and regular information and marketing in all channels. A journey we made together with our customers, who keep increasing in numbers.

Sustainability: As early as in 2005, the environmental managers at our mills and I started the journey to get sustainability on the agenda. We were one of the first listed Swedish companies to support the UN Global Compact and to publish a high-quality sustainability report. We were recognized as one of the most sustainable listed companies, and the UN made a film about our work in connection with the climate conference in Durban.The brand: We transformed the brand from a traditional Swedish forest company to a global packaging partner with smart and sustainable packaging solutions. From volume to innovation and value creation for customers. Internal engagement and overall understanding of the business strategy increased.Financial communication: Shortly after the company's formation, Billerud was distributed to AssiDomän's 228,000 shareholders. For a small company to become one of the stock exchange's most widely distributed shares puts enormous demands on effective communication. During my time as head of Corporate communication, Billerud was twice awarded for best financial communication on the Stock Exchange and won Finforum's prize for the best annual report.Mergers & Acquisitions: Billerud acquired two paper mills in Finland and did a "mergers between equals" with Korsnäs. I was responsible for the communication strategy and implementation in connection with the acquisitions, both before the announcement and onboarding, as well as creating and selling the story internally.Crisis communication: One of the biggest crises was when our mills were taken out on strike. Our focus on dialogue with our sales directors and our customers paid off. I have also handled the communication linked to serious accidents, extensive cuts in personnel, environmental issues and fires at our mills in close collaboration with the mill managers.
