As a Physiotherapist with a solid foundation in Rehabilitation Sciences, I graduated from the University of Verona (Italy) with a degree in Physiotherapy. My passion for advancing my knowledge led me then to the UK, where I earned a Master of Science in Exercise Rehabilitation from Bangor University (Wales, UK).After my postgraduate studies, I established myself as a self-employed Physiotherapist, providing personalized 1:1 online consultations. This work experience allowed me to directly engage with clients, tailoring my approach to meet their individual needs.I then immersed myself in the world of research at UHasselt (Belgium), dedicating two years to the investigation the the use of wearable sensors for automated functional assessment of patients during rehabilitation exercises. During that time, investigators also had the amazing opportunity to both teach and supervise university students. Since first obtaining my degree, I've dedicated myself to disseminating evidence-based information on social media, particularly on Instagram (@the.physio.formula), focusing on themes such as Pain, Injury, and Rehabilitation. My objective is to empower individuals through education, helping them to distinguish between scientifically-supported insights and misinformation.In addition, I have also been actively engaged as a content creator for various companies providing continuing education to physiotherapists. Through these collaborations, I contribute to the ongoing professional development of fellow practitioners, leveraging my expertise to create educational materials that help enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.I am enthusiastic about contributing to the evolving landscape of physiotherapy and committed to fostering a better understanding of health and rehabilitation in the community.
