In this position I supervised military pay transactions, handled pay issues for military members as well as provided payroll liaison services to civilians who work on the installation. I ensured that members were paid all entitlements due to them on time. I maintained customer service support files in accordance with DOD regulations. Additionally I trained members on financial procedures, collect debts for the military, and manage the government travel card program base wide. Prior to this position I handled the bases budget, including accounting, budgeting, managing the government purchase card, purchasing items for the base, ensuring that all bills are paid on time so that the military got rebates back from companies and did not incur any interest penalties. Additionally I performed audits, determined funds availability, and was responsible for the disbursement of funds to various units, analyzed their actual expense as compared to budget the plan and make projections to indicated needed adjustments to the budget plan.

In this position I was tasked with training all new employees in my region so that each store ran the same. In addition I gave training to existing employees to ensure changes we understood and targets were met.
