Prepared detailed cost analyses of all manufactured and assembled equipment by observing the manufacturing activities in the plant, and developing costs based on the actual time spent and materials used to make each piece. This was a standard Manufacturing Engineering "Time and Motion" study, and allowed the company's owners to know whether their established pricing was appropriate. When the company needed to expand beyond their current space, designed the facilities layout for the new 60,000 SF building, establishing the most efficient locations for all operations (such as materials receiving, welding, assembly, shipping, etc.).
