I love puzzles, always have- jigsaw, logic, sudoku.. anything but that dang Rubik’s cube.While there is a certain (obvious) satisfaction in completing or solving a puzzle, my favorite part is the process- the actual work of finding that solution; of looking at things from another angle or point of view, of zooming in on one specific detail at a time, and then pulling back to look at the whole picture. I love doing the work.The connection of the various fields I’ve worked in has been just that. Whether it was how to drive sales number up, keep occupancy rates high, or keep a steady stream of clients’ cases up to date, all while maintaining a functional office and excellent customer service, there were always new challenges that fell on my plate, and always new solutions to find.I wear a lot of hats and I love it. While juggling many different roles and responsibilities, I‘m able to evaluate and reprioritize as needed, focusing on streamlining processes, finding more efficient ways of doing things (bonus points if it is also eco-friendly), and generally helping businesses and people’s lives run more smoothly.I love constantly learning and talking to people about their perspectives and experiences, and that extends to problem solving as much as a good debate. Outside of work, I’m usually relaxing with my favorite tv shows or books, and on a Friday night, more likely than not, you can find me having a lively discussion about current events and equality over a pint of a hoppy San Diego IPA.
