I'm a big picture person. Let's start with my why.My driver is contributing to impactful change through enabling transformational infrastructure projects and innovative technologies that create positive impact. That might sound "fluffy" but my why motivates me to tackle large complex problems and long-term goals. In my current role as a Program and Project Manager, I lead teams of technical and commercial experts to support government and private clients in reaching their strategic objectives. I also support GHD’s corporate venture capital and project origination teams. Through GHD Ventures I contribute to developing and executing on the investment mandate, preparing investment cases and portfolio management. In project origination, I collaborate with GHD’s technical and commercial teams to co-create project ideas, develop pitches and program execution phases. My tertiary and technical education is in the fields of Economics and Civil Engineering. Over seven years I have delivered projects across Transport, Energy & Resources, Properties & Buildings, Water and Environment market sectors, over various phases from origination through feasibility and implementation. I am committed to the energy transition and believe decarbonisation is critical for our environment's future, having recently supported delivery of projects in areas of offshore wind, onshore renewables, hydrogen, critical minerals and green metals, transport & EVs. Being a big picture person, I always start with the end goal in mind and being action-oriented this drives me towards that end-point. Whilst it’s good to keep perspective, I do not hesitate to dive into the details to interrogate or resolve problems.When I'm not working on transformational projects and technologies, you'll find me at a pottery wheel. As a novice (but slowly getting better) this artform keeps me humble and I am practising finding the beauty in the unexpected.
