Since childhood, I have always held a great curiosity for the inner workings of the world. With the help of my peers and mentors, I have begun to dig into the mountain of mysteries that the universe holds. In my time as an undergraduate, I have started to cultivate knowledge and skills that span a fairly broad network of biological use. In my last years at college, the material is narrowed down to more analysis and neuroscience-based courses. I'm also a proud member of a neural and behavior sciences lab at a neighboring university. After receiving my BS in Biology, I plan to pursue graduate school and a career in either research or industry. Outside of academics, I began volunteering in high school and try to upkeep that effort in college. I believe there is a special importance to community and one's ability to help others! Additionally, I work with the Garthwait Leadership Center on campus to develop my skills as a Leadership Educator to serve our student body. This manifests itself both in on campus programs and outdoor experiences. The interaction between academics, community, and outdoor leadership are key components that I being with me to all work environments.
