Full-time Business Studies Teacher teaching A-level, GCSE, L2 BTEC and L3 BTEC Business. Careers and enterprise coordinator seeking to ensure our students have the skills and knowledge to be work-ready.

Currently working at a busy student nightclub alongside my studies. My main duties include; ensuring to serve people as efficiently as possible especially during our peak hours, dispensing the starting flow into the till, re-stocking all drinks at the end of the night, calculating profit made on till, and cleaning the bar for the next working day. Working at snobs has enhanced my organisational skills as prioritising my University studies is essential alongside this role.

As a management trainee I gained experience in a fast paced customer service and sales industry.

Budgens is a local franchise that prides itself on customer service. Thus, throughout my role my primary duty was to ensure I was delivering service of the highest quality. This meant going above and beyond what is simply expected of you as a shop assistant, I needed to engage with the customer and form a relationship with them. My main Duties included; P.O.S marketing, in which I had to reduce items and position them in a way that would attract sales quickly, this helped me to understand and appreciate the customers buying behaviour. Assisting customers with the packing of shopping and cleaning the store to a professional standard.

Working throughout the summer to help with various council activities. This includes helping to prepare and work at different events, including, The Roald Dahl and Paralympic Flame Festival. Additionally, working for a council-led disability club 'DASH', providing sporting activities for young adults with learning difficulties.

In sixth form I took the role of Head Girl. This role required me to represent the school at events, and voice the opinions of the students in campaigns. Some of my responsibilities included:Public speaking- It was my job to represent the school at open evenings, fundraising events, and awards nights. This required me to create a speech and present it to members of the public, including the Parents Teachers Association and other members of the school. Campaigning/ voicing student ideas- It was also my role to pitch various ideas to the Parents Teachers Association in order to obtain funding.Organising events: It was my duty to organise various charity events, such as cake sales, car washes and football tournaments. It was important that I involved all ideas across the senior student team, and allowed them room to organise different factors. This helped to create a positive working atmosphere and motivated team.
