My career began in NYC in Children's Television. I've had a passion for Children's programming since I was little and Reading Rainbow was a family tradition. I quickly found myself living in the world of advertising, making toy and candy commercials for children; and while it seemed a hypocritical thing at the time, I came to realize that not only did that keep me immersed in the youth culture, it was a wonderful training ground for the world of short form production. I found I had a knack for Broadcast Production and after running the production department at G-Whiz Entertainment, I decided to follow my roots back to the Midwest and started a freelance career in Chicago. While working at various Ad Agencies and Post/Design houses I spent my nights and weekends running my own Production Company, Big Teeth. While I learned a lot when working for "the man", running a business has taught more more than I could ever imagine. I am driven by to-do lists. The more tasks I have to complete the more productive I am. I love to problem solve and interact with people - be they clients or vendors. I'm obsessed with creating estimates and love charts and graphs. Despite a love hate relationship with Quickbooks I find myself addicted to it. I have an innate ability to multitask and a constant to use my creativity. I turned my extra curricular childhood activities into a career and for that I'm a lucky gal!
