“It’s beauty in the struggle” - J.Cole. While going through struggle it’s hard to see how such a thing can be beautiful. I’m from the South side of Chicago and when I first heard this quote in a song, I had pretty much struggled all of my life with one thing or another. But as I grew older I really started to listen to those words, “It’s beauty in the struggle”.I have come to realize that people who have faced true hardships or “struggle” are the same people that can turn nothing into something. They work hard everyday to fix problems, and have the determination and grit to accomplish great things. Seeing the same people in my community thrive when they get the chance opened me up to new possibilities. After realizing the lessons within my own hardships I now know when I struggle I will persevere, when pressure is put on me I will achieve, and when I am given a chance to thrive, I will deliver.Experience Created wireframes of a web application interface that specifically focuses on space allocation and prioritization of content, functionalities available, and intended behaviors. Used my knowledge of programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to code web applications. Communicated with clients to determine their needs and design preferences, creating code for the front-end of a website and running tests to ensure the functionality of code.
