Humanitarian engineering; something all engineers should aspire to do. It's about taking a community based and human centred design approach on every project you work on whether in transport, energy, infrastructure or product development. Finding sustainable solutions and using appropriate technology to create a world where everyone has the engineering knowledge and tools to live a life of security, free from poverty.
