I enjoy furthering my knowledge on anything media, journalism, current event, or social media based- I want to understand and be aware of just how much these tools affect communication within our society. I have a passion for writing so I encourage both the current and up-and-coming generations to use their words to express their voices or opinions. Especially with the convenience we have with social media, we need to utilize this power so we have a say in what is going on in our world and the future.I am currently in my third year at Kent State University as a communications major- I have gained skills in interpersonal communication, media relations, visual design, analysis of information, and leadership. I seek to be influential toward younger generations with the skills I have acquired and hope to encourage the use of social media to show their input on topics.
