BIDCO is a multi-faceted Industrial Diving and Marine Services Company with headquarters in Buffalo, NY. Our diving experience includes all types of underwater operations Inland and Offshore including, but notlimited to deep and shallow water dredging; underwater engineering inspection for steam power generation facilities and hydroelectric dams; water intake construction; intake, and outfall pipeline construction; ROV inspection; marine/underwater demolition; deep-water decompression diving, as well as nuclear facilities diving. BIDCO also provides complete and turnkey design and engineering services (sea walls, cofferdam construction, breakwater/jetty construction, heavy fabrication, and associated field services).

We provide oversight through every stage of the project, striving to keep the schedule on time, while maintaining the overall quality of the project.

As the Operations Manager, I held overall responsibility for the operations of the center (Station 12) in accordance with WS’ policies, visions and values. Working to serve our customers, tenants and our communities. Some of my roles and responsibilities included but not limited to: Executing contracts and insurance; Vendor interaction (hosting annual meetings to review expectations and scope), Tenant maintenance (maintenance records, ensure that tenants are upholding their maintenance obligations, coordinating life safety inspections, hiring and management of service providers); Accounting (providing input on monthly accruals, reviewing financials, meter readings); New store openings/ closings (setting up utilities, provide support to leasing rep and tenant coordinator on build out pricing and onsite protocol, facilitate site access to support leasing, provide cost inputs, provide welcoming open communication to new and neighboring tenants); Events (coordination of vendors who are providing setup and breakdown support); Systems (Avid, Building Engines, MRI, Papervision, Sales Force); Special Projects (CAM and LEP budgets, weather related emergencies, and inspection visits)

Acting as Senior Project Manager for thirteen General Construction projects; concurrently managed all aspects of commercial construction projects from bidding/ pre-construction and design, to final completion and close-outs.

Drive production of opportunities to meet local sales teams goals and objectives. Develop qualified referrals and sales opportunities. Generate leads by initiating conversations and qualifying perspective customers. Close home owner contracts to save money while using clean solar energy.

Determine scope requirements with clients, prepare project scope and estimates, assign tasks to development team, track project progress to ensure on-time delivery of completed project. Provide assistance as needed to senior managers and company President related to marketing, sales and customer support.

Worked on business development, strategic planning, marketing, furniture design and implementation for a Buffalo based custom furniture company, Artifact Timber Company. Tasks included wood working, interior carpentry, finishing techniques & specialty projects with a variety of collaborators.

Served as Assistant Project Manager for nine General Construction projects; concurrently managed aspects of commercial construction projects from bidding and pre-construction to final completion and close-outs.

Tasks include many varied duties - research, typing, producing individual insurance relate quotes, total office administrative organization, directing telephone calls, schedule appointments, office liaison to management, compose office communication letters.

Compiled look books and itineraries based on local grassroots movements, organizations and projects to be presented to potential investors.

I was a regular contributor to the GrowWNY blog, focusing on local sustainability, events and opportunities to make yourself aware of our environment and the current conditions.
