I am an Ontario Certified Teacher as well as have my Letter of Authority to teach in Alberta. My current position is grade three. I love to integrate the arts into my teaching, and I have begun my ORFF training to become specialized in music. My philosphy of education is directly linked to every student learning differently. I differentiate my instruction so students with all learning styles can be successful. Some interesting initiatives that I do with my students are as follows:- Daily 5 (Language Arts)- Bump it Up- used to encourage students to improve their work- Teaching in character- Sideways H (Math problem solving strategy)- Foldables Teaching is another form of effective strategic communication to a target audience (children).
