My name is Elise Ward and I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Sport Management and Business Finance with a minor in Business Administration at Western Kentucky University. Beginning in August of 2016 until May 2019, I served as an Indiana youth soccer referee. During my time as a referee, I learned how to control tense situations, keep calm in hostile environments, and how to lead. Since my first year at Western Kentucky, I have been a student manager for the women's basketball team. During my sophomore year, I became the head student manager. As a student manager for a Division 1 basketball program, I have developed skills in time management, organization, and relationship building all while sharpening my leadership skills.
