I love happy people. That’s what lead me to work at my childhood happy-place, Walt Disney World. In my role as a Guest Relations Hostess at the Magic Kingdom I’m able to delight Guests new and old by finding creative solutions to their unique issues from planning their vacation to turning a ruined day into a better one. I also provide specialized assistance for Guests needing foreign language assistance to help them have a smooth visit, using my Japanese and Mandarin Chinese studies during college. I was quickly recognized as a leader in my area, being promoted to trainer a little over a year after joining the department and coordinator 8 months after. I take pride in uplifting and encouraging fellow Cast, taking on special projects like maintaining a mentor program for international programs Cast and developing a training guide for trainers to streamline the department’s onboarding processes. When I’m not making Guests happy, I’m making happiness for my design clients. I’ve illustrated since I was young but only recently invested in my artistic interests by completing a Certificate in Graphic Design. In combination with my knowledge of marketing from my international business degree, I take special interest in branding and developing integrated campaigns. I create vintage inspired designs with a modern flair, influenced by the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. I’m a vintage fashionesta and serial thrifter who drools over old magazines ads and vinyl album covers.
