Project Manager, Sales And ProductAccion Opportunity Fund Mar 2020 - Apr 2021San Jose, Ca, UsI managed and contributed to a human-centered research and design project to bring a product to market that will help differentiate Accion Opportunity Fund as a trusted partner for underserved small business owners across the US.-Led and/or participated in 4 rounds of research interviews with a total of 32 small business owners, including co-creation sessions-Conducted synthesis of interviews including key insights and developed concepts for prototyping-Refined prototypes over 3 rounds resulting in an MVP guide for a new digital productI also managed and coordinated strategic sales projects across all loan product lines with a focus on service design to improve customer experience and client acquisition. This included marketing and communications efforts for a variety of programs in the immediate aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, including: - Designed and launched a webpage and client newsletter with resources for small business owners struggling due to the economic shutdown - Worked with our partners Saverlife to connect 500 small business owners and employees with $500 emergency relief grants - Managed communication campaigns to connect clients to government COVID relief (Paycheck Protection Program) funding, resulting in over 1,100 (mostly minority and women) small business owners receiving funds - Managed product design and outreach for a new "restart" loan product for small business owners recovering after COVID - 50% average open rates for all email campaigns

Program ManagerAccion In The U.S. Jan 2018 - Apr 2021Throughout 2019 I provided key project support for a strategic combination of the Accion US Network and Opportunity Fund. I worked with senior leaders to articulate the vision and value proposition of the combined organization and create presentations and messaging for stakeholders including boards and funders. I also conducted extensive staff interviews to establish gaps in our existing lending processes that we could address with our new combined microlending strategy. The two nonprofits came together with the vision of bringing small business microlending to scale in underserved communities across the US. The combination was complete as of March 1, 2020 (press release linked in my profile).In my role as Program Manager, I also designed and coordinated programs related to measuring and improving the financial health of Accion clients, such as customized financial coaching and loan product offerings that make repayment easier. I was able to leverage the knowledge gained in my 2+ years of experience working on the implementation of our new lending platform to help design these programs and guide them to success.

Project ManagerAccion In The U.S. Aug 2015 - Jan 2018For two years I served as a lead project manager on the organization's highest-profile project, an effort to bring the four regional member lending offices within the U.S. Network onto a single cloud-based platform for CRM and lending operations. The project was aimed at shared organizational goals of increasing efficiency, gaining scalability, and in turn, increasing social impact by allowing Accion to help more low to moderate income entrepreneurs.Responsibilities throughout this project included:-Leading requirements gathering and internal project communications-Serving as point person for Accion with our lead technology vendor as well as other 3rd party vendors that integrate with our new platform-Managing working groups representing different operational workstreams across our regional offices-Leading the effort to map the architecture for our new loan application approval process, based on member requirements (page layouts, access to data, application flow in the platform)-Coordinating UAT and delivery of end-user training-Researching business intelligence tools to allow for the greatest streamlined reporting for our member offices at an attainable cost for a nonprofitI have also gained proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Smartsheet and encouraged adoption among key staff members.
