In parallel with promoting books that I still ensure (see previous post), I now also manage their distribution and sales. This function brings me to : - Manage and lead outsourced distribution (broadcaster(s) and aggregators)- Ensure commercial relations with major accounts (direct orders)- Develop direct sales via our online store- Be the commercial link with authors and collection directors (sales reports)- Collaborate with the editorial team (decision making on the publication of the books, prices and circulation of the books, assistance in writing the arguments)- Be in contact with the person in charge of book production (decision on launch dates)- Register works with the office, distribute deliveries (publisher/distributor) - Draw up a monthly turnover statement according to the collections of works and distribution by sales channel- Ensure monthly restocking and stock management, anticipate withdrawals.+ Supervision of a Marketing Assistant since September 2017.

Communication about our products - books and academic journals - is at the centre of my function since I started working at EDP Sciences.My activities, related to the internal and external communication of the EDP Sciences group, as well as the Print and Digital marketing of our products, allowed me to broaden my skills:- Supervising the creation of print or digital communication content (posters, advertising, catalogues, e-mailings, web banners, etc.). Scientific communication On and Offline.- Manage the presence of EDP Sciences on social networks (Twitter): define the relevant content to present the books on Twitter, develop the animation plan and the community management of the account, ensure reporting and propose development axes: in one year, I have increased by 30% our number of followers thanks to an enhancement of our content and the recruitment of targeted communities.- Ensure the evolution, development and animation of the Bookshop in coordination with internal interlocutors and external service providers- Set up internal events and participate in various fairs (specifications, logistics)- Manage press relations, develop media plans- Follow schedules and budgets- but also... bounce back, react, manage day-to-day situations, sometimes and often in emergency, in short: know how to adapt!+ Regular supervision of trainee students and a Marketing Assistant since September 2017.
