Elise lives in Traverse City, Michigan, a few hours hours north of her birthplace of Paw Paw, Michigan. She is grateful for the Potawatomi and Anishinaabe people, the first known inhabitants of Paw Paw and Traverse City, respectively, for stewarding and sustaining these places she loves.
