I believe that life is better when you’re moving; a healthy body is a healthy mind! My degree in Recreation Management and Community Development reflects my personal belief of Active Living, not only outside the workplace, but inside the workplace. My diverse background which includes working in community relations, events and program planning and organizing, retail and insurance has allowed me to work with a variety of people, groups and communities. I enjoy a good challenge that keeps me on my toes. Planning and organizing gives me a sense of accomplishment where I can bring people and things together to create something extraordinary. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and playing softball in the summer and hockey in the winter. Being a Mom is the most challenging and rewarding job I’ve ever had. We find ourselves constantly being tested and experiencing new things.
