By monitoring in the command office and patrolling the building, I provide security to the Cox Business Convention Center and the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa, OK; I am the first point of contact inside the building for trades-persons, guests, and employees. I monitor activity through the command office and patrol the site on foot, monitor radio traffic, and coordinate between the employees I serve and the trades-persons, mail carriers, package handlers, police officers, and the fire department.In addition, I supervise approximately 15 employees, create weekly schedules, ensure payroll is provided to the corporate office, provide guidance or discipline as is required for my employees, and work closely with the client and the office to ensure proper staffing, training, retention, and ensure that all day-to-day duties carried out by the officers are up to standards.
