As a professional writer with a Master's degree in Professional Writing from Kennesaw State University, I am passionate about science and literature. I also have a graduate certificate in Creative Writing and a BS in Integrative Studies with minors in Writing and Biology. I graduated summa cum laude and received the Outstanding Senior Award for my department.I have demonstrated my editorial, marketing, and research skills through various work experiences as a graduate research assistant, an editorial intern, and a writing assistant. I edited an academic manuscript on Slovak literature for McGill-Queen publication, coordinated with the lead professor over editorial work and research compilation, and performed archival research for their publications. I curated promotional content for Pelican Publishing using Canva, Hootsuite, and Meltwater, evaluated submissions, edited for Chicago Style, and designed and implemented a marketing strategy for a novel. I conducted over 330 collaborative sessions with students to improve their writing skills and comprehension, performed outreaches across the university, and led weekly writing events.
