Hi there👋I'm Elise, a marketing and communications specialist. My career started out in hospitality and events. From Maccas to bars, then running functions, conferences, weddings, exhibitions and a restaurant at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. While working at BCEC I studied a Bachelor of Hotel and Tourism Management, with majors in events at UQ.I soon became interested in writing and pivoted into a marketing role at BCEC, where I was responsible for the venue's websites, app, social media, campaigns, database, media communications, content and digital strategy.To add to my skills I studied a diploma of graphic design whilst working full-time and starting my own freelance business. I've had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients across marketing and design to grow their business including skincare, landscaping, make-up, lighting design, restaurants and more.In my next career step, I spent six years in marketing leadership roles for tech startups developing B2B and B2C marketing strategies for SaaS products.I am currently Content Marketing Director at content marketing agency, Media Mortar.
