As the communication advisor I work with the Epsilon Eta chapter's communication team to facilitate marketing and public relations materials. I help to mentor and provide insight on the best way to showcase the sorority internally and externally. I oversee social media, digital, and print communication aspects of the chapter and work towards our goal of helping all women reach their potential.

As a Project Manager, I work with clients to achieve their advertising goals. Working one on one with clients allows me to have strong communication with the internal team who create the desired deliverables. I work on a range of clients from tires, assisted living, casinos, liquor stores, and more! As part of my role, I oversee the creation of social schedules, radio scripts, TV commercials, billboards, reports, to name a few.

I am responsible for teaching mass communication, speech, and advertising classes. Additionally I create and organize the School of Communication and Journalism’s social media efforts.

My M.A degree enhances my advertising and management undergraduate studies. I have learned how to create business models, coordinate campaigns, and how to research communication phenomenon.

During my Vice Presidency, my goal was to assist the president in any capacity needed. I aided in event planning for meetings and recruitment tactics.

I work on all things media related for this nonprofit health organization. These include social media management, website development, print design, traditional media, and video editing.

SDSU has a student run newspaper. As advertising manager, I ran work meetings, oversaw the advertising staff and advised them in their selling strategies with clients. Additional tasks focused on budgets, hiring, organizing weekly ads in the newspaper.

Advertising was my major area of study paired with a management minor. Classes focused on campaign creation and management, research, social media, video editing and other areas focused on media studies.

Online identities are crucial in the modern world. This role worked to create a credible identify for Alpha Xi Delta at SDSU. I managed routine website updates.

Alpha Xi Delta at SDSU serves a pivotal role in Greek life on campus. As a major chapter on campus, my role was to work on leveraging the chapter’s image externally. My work took on a public relations role of marketing AXD in the best possible light to the campus community and surrounding areas.
