Collaborated with a team of 3 UX researchers to execute a qualitative study for a car company. Conducted usability tests with participants while they are driving with a Concurrent Think Aloud to see “how do they act”, followed by in-home interview to understand “how do they think.” Analyzed data by identifying mental models of driving, design issues, communications issues, and learning issues. Highlighted the specificities of the usability issues depending of the driving task, the driver experience, and the characteristic of the environment and the country. Participated in meetings involving stakeholders, designers, marketing members, and engineers. Elaborated and synthesized results to implement the final report.

Collaborative Research “Participation of high level athletes with learning disabilities in the paralympian movement. • Designed and taught 500 hours of lectures at both the levels of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Courses included: General sociology, Disability studies, Sociology of health, Socio-economical inscription of Sport Activities, Sport mobilization of disabled people, Methodology of qualitative research (ethnographies, interviews, focus groups, surveys).• Supervised 9 Master’s students on research projects.

Doctoral Research: “Framed marginalities. A study about disability concerns in various associative configurations in the world of French contemporary circus. Supervised by P.I. Anne Marcellini, Lab “Health, Education and Disability Situation” University of Montpellier • Identified, and critically analyzed existing knowledge. • Identified obstacles to social participation and formulated a research question. • Conducted 11 cases studies with qualitative methods: in-depth interviews, participation observation, and document analysis. • Communicated in 7 national conferences and 2 international conferences. • Authored 2 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Post-doctoral Research “Discriminations against disabled people in leisure, cultural and sports life: a comparative study France / England.”Center for Disability Studies, French Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM). Supervised by Professor J.F. Ravaud and professor Emmanuelle FillionIn Collaboration with David Howe, Loughborough University, U.K. • Designed qualitative research, relative to discrimination faced by disabled people in France and the UK.• Obtained a Fellowship from the Research Alliance on Discrimination, a member of the Major Area of Interest “Gender, Inequality, Discrimination” Organization, Paris, France.• Studied and compared French, UK, and European human rights and non-discrimination legislations and public policies.• Conducted two case studies on inclusive artistic programs.• Communicated results “Which concrete organization of the equality of participation of disabled people to the corporal artistic practices? A comparative study of two inclusive projects in France and the UK” in the 2016 international colloquium “Act for equality” from the organization “Gender, Inequalities, Discrimination”, in Paris.• Currently writing an article “Are inclusive programs an answer to equality?” to submit to a peer-reviewed scientific journal.

• Provided expertise on social participation of disabled people and guidance for the creation of inclusive artistic workshops “French Remix”.• Guided the identification of obstacles to the participation of disabled people.• Co-Organized the Symposium “Extraordinary bodies: beyond the norms and towards creative difference”, in La Brèche, Cherbourg-Octeville, France, March, 27th. Conceptualized and scientifically coordinated the symposium. Selected researchers and artists to speak, and moderated the symposium.• Wrote the booklet “Extraordinary Bodies: A creative difference”, aiming to raise awareness about inclusion in performing arts.
