Elise has international pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industry experience, having lived in Germany for much of the past decade and worked with multi-disciplinary teams, mostly across Europe and North America. Her experience spans technical and business strategy areas, ranging from startups to billion dollar projects and products. She is passionate about medical improvements and education initiatives, particularly using real world, evidence-based research.With over 18 years of professional employment, Elise is experienced in identifying and building collaborative partnerships with international experts. In particular, she has worked extensively with companies in Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, USA, UK and Japan. For this, Elise is skilled in business development, contract negotiation and intellectual property. Elise has a BSc with Honours from Monash University, a neuroscience medical research PhD from the University of Melbourne, and has since worked in the Cardiovascular, Metabolic, Immunology and Psychiatry therapeutic areas. Elise is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and also has a Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law.Outside of work, Elise is slightly obsessed about landscape design, especially making small outdoor spaces more enjoyable.
