Sounds of Success helps children thrive with tailored tele-practice support, from articulation to AAC. We also partner with schools, placing skilled SLPs to meet district needs while ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.

Engaged in intensive Spanish language training with the aim of advancing linguistic competency, thereby promoting better outcomes for Spanish-speaking patients and their families.

• Provide in-person & online speech and language services for school age students• Create & utilize AAC support systems including speech generating devices (SGDs), Pragmatically Organized Dynamic Displays (PODDs), & iPad applications• Establish district-wide AAC referral & assessment processes• Facilitate team growth & discussions around multiplex topics• Prepare & conduct Individual Education Plan (IEP), initial eligibility, & re-eligibility meetings• Observe & train other special educators in evidence-based strategies relating to AAC• Communicate with parents/care providers to promote generalization of communication skills to the home environment• Generate & present funding proposals to administration

• Provided direct & consultative speech language services for individuals aged 5-21 with autism, intellectual disability, emotional disturbance, or other differences resulting in complex communication needs • Conducted informal & formal assessments for the purpose of qualification of speech services & re-eligibility • Actively participated in IEP meetings • Prepared & delivered specific in-service training to educational staff

Treated, screened, and assessed short-term and long-term patients in a variety of deficits including; dysphagia, cognitive-linguistic, aphasia, dysarthria, oral motor and speech disorders. Wrote Treatment Encounter Notes (TENs) and assessment reports. Maintained and average of 90% productivity. Completed Bedside Swallow Examinations and used International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Scale (IDDSI) to inform patients' plan of care. Counseled and made recommendations to patients and caregivers surrounding patients' needs upon discharge.

Performed Speech Generating Device (SGD) assessments with ALS population. Completed user and caregiver training regarding SGD implementation and programming. Troubleshot technological/system errors.
