I have always believed in the emancipatory power of education in all its expressions. My first tribute to education was in scientific popularization and communication then in basic education, library development, custom training, and textbook publishing projects. My profound need for results was the trigger to study for and obtain a master’s degree in project management. Motivating multidisciplinary and multicultural teams on international context for 15 years taught me patience, diplomacy, tenacity, and adaptability. Working within a Quebec college network also for 15 years provided me with the great sense of service and rigor that comes along with the accountability for managing public funds.It is with this state of mind that I am envisioning my new role as Operations Manager of Continuing Education at Champlain College in Saint-Lambert. I wish to fully engage with our team in continued quality improvement of our programs and services with the contribution of our students, faculty members, trainers, and partners. Together, we will contribute to address societal issues which are of concern to all of us and to be aligned with one of the values promoted by Champlain College: life-long learning for everyone.
