I first had the pleasure of meeting her in the summer of 2007 when she was helping a colleague of mine with a few projects and in 2008 I hired her as an intern for the summer. Elisette’s primary responsibility was assisting with the coordination and implementation of Neighbors In Health. The event is a day of free healthcare for uninsured and underinsured children in Sonoma County. In 2008 we provided services to over 500 children. Elisette was my right hand (and often left hand too) person. I was able to give her minimal instruction on tasks and she excelled and exceeded my expectations each and every time. When we were stuck in certain areas of the planning I would go to her for a fresh new idea and she always had great suggestions but also put those suggestions into action. One of the most important pieces to Neighbors In Health was our patient flows and minimizing bottlenecks. To ensure this ran smoothly we created a Safari theme in which each child would go on a “Safari” stopping at different spots along the way (MD visit, immunization, etc). We were challenged when it came to figuring out how best to lead the children around the facility to all of these stops. Elisette was instrumental in helping us create Safari packets to help the children find there way. Another key to success was the volunteer piece. It took near 600 volunteers to host this event. We could not have communicated with all of the volunteers were it not for Elisette. She again, with minimal instruction, took on the task of sending out all the volunteer confirmation emails with instructions, maps and other event details. Elisette excels in professionalism, organization, efficiency, customer service and productivity. Elisette is a natural at adapting to her environment and those around her; all the while far exceeding her tasks with outstanding perfection. She has an innate ability to anticipate all your needs and think through issues logically with great outcomes. She is exceptionally competent and diligent with details. I am impressed with her amazing skill set at this early point in her life."
