Hello, I’m Elisha, a current student studying Advertising and brand communications at Manchester Metropolitan University. My passion is for Advertising and communicating with consumers through different mediums. I am a young and upcoming marketer who is starting their career/ Journey exploring the academic theory behind consumer behaviour and advertising in university. I aim to continue to be able to learn and reevaluate my skills, as well as stay connected to emerging and ongoing trends that spark within the industry. I have had the opportunity to be a part of some amazing teams working part-time in retail which drove my passion for communicating with consumers and appealing to their needs and wants. Within these roles I have learnt about the customer journey, the importance of visual merchandising and the use of communications on social media platforms. I hope to use the skills and knowledge I have from these roles to apply them to how we innovate and build relationships with consumer-to-brand communications. I am looking for a placement within the Advertising and communications sector to begin in 2024. I am hoping to engage with multiple departments within a company such as digital marketing, client communications, brand management etc. I am eager to connect with fellow professionals and individuals who could introduce me to emerging trends, and companies to contact or potentially connect with for placements.
