Teaching Digital Responsibility in the Age of Technology

Primary role responsibilities include initiating process for committees on special education, assessing social - emotional functioning of students and providing necessary interventions, ensuring that all aspects of student individualized education plans are being met and serving as a liaison between the public and private schools. Other responsibilities include coordinating related service providers schedules with students, working with teachers and administrators on a variety of educational issues including classroom and curriculum modification, crisis management, school-wide student programming, and community and parent development initiatives.

Responsible for all Clinical Services and programming. Clinical services include individual and crisis management, referral and case management, school based services, and after-school programming. Other programming includes, community education and parenting programs, professional development for school administrators and community leaders and ongoing assessment of communal needs and intervention development. Other responsibilities include client data management, oversight and supervision of social work Intern placement program and management of relationships with community agencies, leaders, and universities.

Oversight of employees and office efficiency, programmatic development and implementation, budgetary matters, vendor relations, fundraising, marketing and public relations, membership development, grant writing and proposals, technological updates, oversight of services, scheduling and efficiency of programs, management of dues, donor cultivation and collections, and all aspects of physical plant maintenance.

Primary role responsibility is the administrative oversight of two distinct Yeshiva University initiatives. One was the BRAVE bully reduction program and research study. The study focused on 7 schools in 5 states and included more than 1200 student participants. Responsibilities also included training of school representatives, ongoing programmatic support, coordination of data collection and entry, billing and materials development. My other role was to serve as the Regional Coordinator for Y.U.'s national school affordability initiative. In this role I served as the convener of resources for 20 schools in the area of school affordability and fiscal solvency. We assisted schools in the development of research based and data driven practice. Responsibilities also included, school assessment, relationship building, regional conference development, coordination of individualized consultations and ongoing coaching, and legislative and foundational lobbying.

Taught first year social work students. Courses included Foundations of Social Work and Cultural Diversity. In addition to teaching course material, infusing students with a passion for the field and helping individuals, families and communities was a primary focus.
