Technology is meant to be accessible by all. TechLadies is a community-led initiative for women in Asia to connect, learn, and advance as programmers in the tech industry. I led a team of 13 women in the committee and 80 volunteers (mostly software engineers) to run workshops, panel discussions, coding bootcamp, and mentorship program. TechLadies now has >5000 members across Asia, taught >500 ladies in Singapore and Malaysia coding skills that saw >12 ladies (without any prior programming background) switch careers into technical roles.
