I am a current graduate student at Northwestern College where I am getting my MA in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. At Northwestern, I have had the opportunity to sharpen my counseling skills, learn to be a student advocate, and begin to develop a comprehensive school counseling program. As an undergraduate Psychology student, I was able to create, analyze, and present a variety of research studies which allowed me to gain data collection and analysis skills relevant for counselors today. I studied abroad for a semester in Romania, where I learned the language, explored beautiful mountains, and made lifelong connections with the amazing locals. My goal is to become a school counselor and empower students to become the best students, future employees, and people they can be. The love of learning is one of my top virtues and I aspire to be a lifelong learner.
