Managing the development and delivery of various marketing campaigns, communications initiatives and community events for 5 different sites across NSW involved working closely with key stakeholders to plan, coordinate and communicate strategy LAM activities. I was responsible for managing direct marketing activities and digital advertising campaigns, which involved creating and publishing content across various print/digital channels, as well as monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns through market research, reporting and analysis. This involved utilising CRM capability to facilitate and improve campaigns with the aim of optimising brand exposure and return on investment (ROI).

Macquarie Park

A key part of organising national marketing campaigns and promotions for all Private Label products involved planning, developing and implementing promotional activities, media coverage and events, such as the annual Metcash Private Label Expo, Price Match and Gigantic Sale. I managed marketing and launch programs for all new products, providing price, promotions, marketing and multi-channel communications support. I also project managed the art design process for product promotions, including developing concepts and designs to promote new products as well as sourcing and briefing designers to create POS material for various retail promotions.

Macquarie Park

Focusing in improving brand and product exposure, I organised the printing and distribution of marketing materials that effectively promoted various products and services. I also monitored pricing across Australia/New Zealand to ensure products remained competitive and reflected current market conditions and trends. I assisted with the planning and execution of internal sales conferences, including sourcing venues, coordinating invitations, organising catering, arranging transportation and preparing support materials, and worked with publishers and authors to create tools that enabled sales teams to provide the right materials for university lectures.

This role involved working closely with booking agencies and magazines to ensure advertising materials were submitted on time. I also organised the printing and distribution of POS material and assisted with the implementation of various marketing campaigns. This involved liaising with Seiko Epson Japan to place orders for print samples, researching external magazines, newspapers and websites to monitor brand exposure and potential PR opportunities, and ensuring all review units were in working order for journalists. I project managed various events, product launches and exhibitions with responsibility for managing all logistics associated with sourcing venues, accommodation and entertainment, and provided on-site support from initial event setup through to completion.
