Elissa is a Senior Research Assistant in the Artificial-Architecture lab at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Previously, she obtained a Bachelor with Honors in Spatial Design from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She has since graduated with Masters of Science (MSc.) in Urban Science, Policy, and Planning.Apart from being one of the main organizers for CAADRIA 2024, She has presented as a delegate for several conferences, including the City, Public Space and Body conference organized by Goldsmiths, University of London, and Cultures, Communities and Design Conference, organized by Architecture, Media Politics Society. Her paper titled ‘Neuro-Participatory Urbanism: Sensing Sentiments and Tracking Perceptions with Machine Learning.’ has also been published in AMPS PROCEEDINGS SERIES 30: Cultures, Communities, and Design: Connecting Planning, Landscapes, Architecture, and People.She has a keen interest in evidence based design, particularly in application of human sensory technologies like biometric data and machine learning for design.
