Theory to practice. Big ideas to actionable steps. I'm committed to community-engaged, justice-focused, creative, and experiential inquiry into food and environmental systems issues. I have years of experience in pedagogical development, climate change activism, small ag/food business consulting, and creative solution-seeking. My roots are in experiential education, systems thinking and transdisciplinary approaches. I believe that art has a role to play in the movement toward more resilient ecological, economic, and social systems. As an educator, I incorporate many ways of knowing to get at complex issues related to agriculture, sustainability, climate change, and land use. I like to dig in the dirt, make (and eat) good food, and build community.
