Elissa spent five years as a Vice President with Business for Social Responsibility where she led a $5 million initiative to develop and launch the Global Responsibility Resource Center, and was integrally involved in strategic planning and leadership efforts during a critical period of growth for the organization. She has also served as a CSR consultant with a special focus on reporting and transparency.

Elissa spent five years in Corporate Affairs at Levi Strauss & Co. where she worked on a variety of corporate social responsibility issues including global sourcing, human rights, environmental policy, and philanthropic programs.
