CurrentIn my role as the Tech and Innovation Programme Manager at techUK, I have the unique opportunity to immerse myself in a dynamic and expanding tech and innovation programme. This role places me at the forefront of techUK’s efforts in driving forward crucial and transformative technologies, specializing in Semiconductors and Digital Identity.This position is about more than just supporting the programme—it's about actively shaping the future of these technologies, delivering a comprehensive and impactful programme of work. This involves planning and designing a diverse range of activities, including organizing events, stakeholder engagement and research, generating insights, and identifying new opportunities. By doing so, I build and maintain relationships with techUK members, decision-makers, civil society, and other key stakeholders, all with the goal of propelling UK tech to new heights.One of the most exciting aspects of my role is the direct impact my work has on the wider techUK team. I contribute to ongoing projects in Cyber Security, Financial Services, AI and Sustainability. I also have the opportunity to help develop coherent and relevant policy recommendations on behalf of our members. My efforts ensure that techUK’s voice remains clear, compelling, and relevant, resonating with both our members and key decision-makers.Working in this intellectually stimulating, fast-paced, and high-profile area requires a unique skill set. Building connections and relationships with a variety of people, working both independently and as part of a team, and considering the broader implications of emerging technologies on the UK economy, society, and planet are all crucial components of my role.
