Elita is a show creator and character designer / vis dev artist who graduated from Sheridan College's BAA Animation Program (Honours) in 2015 with her award-winning thesis film, “Wakalulu.” In 2018, she pitched "Wakalulu" as an animated series at Kidscreen's Asian Animation Summit in Seoul and won meetings with Netflix, Disney, Nickelodeon, Amazon, and Korean studios. "Wakalulu" also garnered the interest of Adventure Time producer Eric Homan and Pascal Blais Studio (Triplets of Belleville).Her other animated series, "Sushi Squad", was pitched at MIPCOM.She has worked 8 years as a (character) designer / vis dev artist on shows aired on Netflix, Nickelodeon, and Disney; and has been a guest speaker and workshop trainer at animation festivals and events.In her spare time, she indulges in Batman and lives vicariously in otherwordly worlds.
